AOD Program for Lawyer-Referred Clients

The Wagon provides an immediate start, evidence-informed option for clients who have been directed or strongly encouraged to engage in an AOD program — particularly when court timelines are tight or barriers exist to in-person services.

Why Lawyers & Solicitors Refer Clients to The Wagon

Immediate Commencement & Flexible

No waitlists. Clients can begin within minutes of enrolment. Completed over 4–6 weeks. Can be completed over 7–10 days where appropriate.

Psychologist Developed

Developed by Sunshine Coast-based Registered Psychologist, Jay Beckley with 15+ years’ experience in (AOD) work, including work with clients involved in the legal system.

Evidence Informed

Digital AOD interventions have been evaluated with justice-involved clients and can support early engagement.

Accessible and Discreet

Documentation for Legal Files

With written client consent, the following descriptive confirmation can be provided:

  • Letter of Completion / Participation

  • Confirms enrolment date and completion date (if completed)

  • Confirms modules/topics completed

  • From the optional 1:1 sessions, the letter may include a brief summary of self-reported goals identified in the pre-program session, and the next-step plan discussed in the post-program session (e.g., relapse-prevention plan)

Disclaimer: The Wagon provides descriptive confirmation of participation/completion only. It does not provide forensic assessments, risk assessments, or clinical opinions regarding legal matters, future behaviour, or outcomes. It is a psychoeducational resource and does not replace individual clinical care.

The Program for Court Related Matters
